A Warm, Spiced Latte for Slow Evenings
Wind down with this cozy, creamy latte, made with a blend of warming spices. It is full of aroma and sweetness, and it is a lovely way to end the day. It uses Golden Lakadong Turmeric, Ground Natural Makhir Ginger, Aromatic 3Hills Cinnamon, and Warm Wild Long Pepper.
What You'll Need
- 1 cup milk of choice
- 1 tsp honey
- 1 tsp coconut oil
- ⅛ tsp Warm Wild Long Pepper
- ¼ tsp ground cardamom
- ¼ tsp Aromatic 3Hills Cinnamon
- ¼ tsp Ground Natural Makhir Ginger
- ¼ tsp Golden Lakadong Turmeric
How to Make It
- In a small saucepan, gently heat the milk with the honey and coconut oil over medium heat, stirring occasionally.
- Bring it to just below a boil, when small bubbles form around the edge of the pan.
- Remove from the heat and whisk in the spices until well blended.
- Let it stand for a few minutes, then strain through a fine-mesh strainer if you like. This step is optional. Spices that do not dissolve will settle at the bottom of the mug.
Cold version: omit the coconut oil, use half milk and half water, and whisk or blend well.
