What You'll Need

  • 1 cup plain yogurt
  • 1 tablespoon lemon juice
  • 1 tablespoon olive oil
  • 1 teaspoon Golden Lakadong Turmeric

  • ¼ teaspoon Warm Wild Long Pepper (or black pepper)
  • 1 teaspoon Pure Perilla Pearls (or 1 tablespoon chopped fresh perilla leaves, if available)
  • ½ teaspoon salt, or to taste

How to Make It

  1. In a mixing bowl, whisk together yogurt, lemon juice, and olive oil until smooth.
  2. Add the turmeric, ginger, long pepper, perilla, and salt. Stir until the spices are fully incorporated.
  3. Taste and add more lemon juice for tang, salt for seasoning, or long pepper for heat.
  4. Coat your protein of choice generously with the marinade.
  5. Rest for at least 30 minutes, or refrigerate overnight for deeper flavor.
  6. Cook by grilling, baking, or pan-frying.

Why This Recipe Works
