Makhir Ginger Spiced Pumpkin Pie

  • Ingredients

    Fresh or store-bought deep dish pie crust
    1/2 cup granulated sugar (I used brown sugar)
    2 tsp Pumpkin Spice
    1 tsp Balancing Makhir Ginger
    1/2 tsp salt
    2 large eggs
    15 ounce canned or fresh pumpkin puree
    12 ounce can evaporated milk

    My son and I kicked off fall with our annual pumpkin pie tradition. This year, we added a special twist with Makhir Ginger.

  • Directions

    Preheat oven to 425 degrees F.

    Combine all your dry ingredients and beat the eggs and pumpkin together in another large bowl.
    Add the dry mix to the puree.
    Gradually stir in the evaporated milk and carefully pour the mixture into the unbaked pie shell.
    Bake at 425 degrees for 15 minutes reduce to 350 degrees and bake for another 40-45 minutes.
